Mohamed Salah’s reported next club has surprised football fans following his departure from Liverpool at the end of last season.
The Egyptian forward is reportedly set to join Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor as a free agent after his contract with Liverpool expired. If completed, the move will see Salah sign a two-year deal with the Turkish club.
The reported transfer has caught many fans by surprise, as Salah had long been linked with clubs in Saudi Arabia and several top European teams. Instead, Trabzonspor has emerged as his expected next destination.
Salah leaves Liverpool as one of the club’s greatest players after enjoying a successful spell at Anfield. During his time with the Reds, he won several major trophies, broke multiple records, and became one of the Premier League’s highest-scoring players.
If the deal is completed, the move will mark the beginning of a new chapter in Salah’s career and will undoubtedly be one of the biggest transfer stories of the summer.
