Laolu Senbanjo, also known as “Laolu NYC,” is a Nigerian-born, Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist with expertise in music, performing arts, visual art, human rights law, and activism. His upcoming release, THE ORI EP, is a major milestone in his artistic journey.
Laolu’s path has been shaped by his commitment to helping others reveal their truth. After practicing law for three years in Nigeria, he transitioned to a full-time artist in New York City, expanding his creative horizons and connecting with audiences through his artwork.
THE ORI EP reflects Laolu’s Yoruba heritage and his unique artistic technique, ‘The Sacred Art of the Orí.’ The EP promises an immersive, multi-sensory experience inspired by Afromysterics and Afrobeat, honoring his cultural roots.
