Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has been appointed as the chairman of the National Campaign Council for the June 18, 2022, Ekiti State Governorship election.
Zagaempire reports that Makinde and 81 others were appointed by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
This was made known in a statement issued by Debo Ologunagba, PDP National Publicity Secretary, on Thursday.
Other governors appointed alongside Makinde include; Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) appointed deputy chairman, Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Nyesom Wike (Rivers) and Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom).
