Arrzy Releases Debut EP “Life After 7,” A Personal Story Told Through Music

Nigerian singer-songwriter Arrzy has officially released Life After 7, his debut EP, introducing a collection of music shaped by personal experiences, emotional expression and the different moments that have influenced his journey. Blending contemporary R&B, Afrobeats, country influences and soulful balladry, the project presents a personal perspective on love, ambition, vulnerability and growth.

At the centre of the project is a title that carries a deeper meaning. Life After 7 draws from two defining points in Arrzy’s life: the age he began singing and a later period when his life took a different direction. The connection between these moments gives the project its central idea, linking his early relationship with music to the experiences that have shaped his life since.

Rather than focusing solely on romantic relationships, Life After 7 explores a wider range of human experiences. Its themes reflect the complexities of personal development, the pursuit of ambition, the uncertainty that can accompany change and the process of understanding oneself. Through emotionally driven songwriting and melodic expression, Arrzy brings these experiences into focus while introducing listeners to the perspectives behind his music.

The release arrives as Arrzy continues his development through the Creative Business Africa (CBA) programme, in collaboration with CIIFA and CTF. The project marks an important step in presenting his artistry to a wider audience, giving listeners an opportunity to discover his sound and the story that informs it.

Distributed through The Orchard, Life After 7 establishes the foundation for Arrzy’s next chapter as a recording artist. The debut project brings together his musical influences and personal perspective, offering an introduction to an artist continuing to develop his voice and creative identity.

With Life After 7 now available, listeners can explore Arrzy’s debut body of work and experience the stories, emotions and ambitions behind the music.
