Davido Releases Sixth Studio Album “ORIADÉ”

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has officially released his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, through Sony Music UK/RCA Records. The album marks another major milestone in his career as he celebrates 15 years in the music industry. The 13-track project features Leon Thomas, Black Sherif, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, Fola, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD, and GL_Ceejay.

The title ORIADÉ comes from the Yoruba words Ori (head, destiny) and Adé (crown). Throughout the album, Davido reflects on his journey, growth, family, friendships, and the experiences that have shaped his career.

Before the album’s release, Davido introduced fans to the project with “I Know Who I Be” featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay. He later followed up with “Gimme Dat Ting” featuring NO11, blending Afrobeats with Amapiano.

Songs like “Amazing Grace” featuring Black Sherif, “Already Falling,” and “Tell Everybody” featuring Leon Thomas highlight Davido’s ability to mix Afrobeats with different global influences while staying true to his signature sound. With ORIADÉ, Davido continues to showcase his growth as one of Africa’s biggest music stars.
