Fresh reports have revealed the club leading the race to sign Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze as the summer transfer window continues to gather momentum.
According to reports, Turkish side Trabzonspor have submitted a €15 million offer to AC Milan for the Super Eagles star. The club is said to be keen on strengthening its attack ahead of the 2026/27 season and has identified Chukwueze as a key transfer target.
The 25-year-old endured a challenging spell at AC Milan, where he struggled for regular playing time before spending part of last season on loan at Fulham. With the Italian club expected to reshape its squad this summer, Chukwueze could be set for a fresh start elsewhere.
Reports also suggest that the proposed deal could include a mandatory purchase clause if certain performance-related conditions are met. Although AC Milan have not officially responded to the reported offer, negotiations are expected to continue in the coming weeks.
A move would give Chukwueze the opportunity to play more regularly and rediscover the form that made him one of Nigeria’s most exciting attacking players. His potential new club will also compete in the Turkish Super Lig, Turkish Cup, Turkish Super Cup, and the UEFA Europa League next season.
While no official agreement has been announced, current reports suggest that Trabzonspor are leading the race to secure Samuel Chukwueze’s signature before the summer transfer window closes.
