Folakemi is proud to announce the release of her powerful new single titled “Awólè,” featuring the vibrant and spirit-filled vocalist Mr Gbera. The song is a heartfelt expression of worship, gratitude, and total dependence on God, delivered with passion and deep spiritual conviction.

Princess Folakemi hails from Ondo State, Nigeria, and has been singing since childhood. Her musical journey officially took shape in 2021 when she became an active member of her church choir at Alpha and Omega Church, Akure. Through dedication and divine grace, what started in the choir blossomed into a growing gospel music ministry.

She is the founder and lead minister of her gospel band, Hope of Joy, a music group committed to spreading the message of Christ through soul-lifting worship and praise. The band continues to bless lives through ministrations that inspire faith, hope, and spiritual revival.

Princess Folakemi draws inspiration from renowned gospel ministers such as Mummy Tope Alabi, the late Aduke Gold, and Alaseyori and many more, whose impactful ministries have influenced her sound and spiritual expression. Their dedication to kingdom music has shaped her passion to deliver songs that speak directly to the heart and uplift the soul.

Her new single, “Awólè,” is a powerful declaration of God’s faithfulness and sovereignty. The collaboration with Mr Gbera brings a dynamic blend of strong vocals and spiritual depth, creating a sound that resonates across diverse audiences. With rich instrumentation and heartfelt lyrics, the song is positioned to become a favorite in churches and among gospel music lovers.

Speaking about the project, Princess Folakemi shares:

“Awólè is a testimony of God’s goodness in my life. From singing as a child to serving in the choir and now releasing this song, it has been a journey of grace. I pray this sound brings hope, healing, and joy to everyone who listens.”

The single is available on major digital streaming platforms.
