Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Morah has officially released his debut EP titled “ATTAI (THE HEIR)” — a deeply personal project dedicated to his late father, Attai.
The 8-track EP combines already loved singles like Taribo, Galala, Bakassi, Morah, and Story (feat. Hesting) with 3 brand new songs, creating a balanced mix of familiarity and fresh sound. Each track reflects themes of love, hope, lessons, and cherished memories, making the project both heartfelt and relatable.
With production credits from Big Spirit, Eardrums, Toblez, and Switch Beat, the EP delivers a vibrant Afrobeat soundscape that blends rhythm, soul, and modern energy.
Speaking about the project, Morah shared:
“This project means the world to me as it tells the story of love, lessons, and memories. Each song captures different moments that reflect unconditional love, hope, and strength. My dad was my biggest supporter, and naming this EP after him is my way of honoring the past while looking forward to the future.”
The only feature on the project is Story, which showcases a brilliant collaboration with Afrobeat act Hesting.
