Mohbad, a Nigerian music artist and serial hitmaker, has released a new project titled “Blessed” EP.
The new project “Blessed” houses eight songs with appearances from Bella Shmurda and Zlatan.
Mohbad, an Ikorodu-born rapper/singer, has emerged as one of the main exponents of street pop with his unique baritone-tinged voice, off-kilter vocal tics, and deep stories of overcoming adversity.
Mohbad flexes his rich linguistic imagination and draws on a deep reservoir of lived experiences for inspiration on every track, whether it’s the searing pop song “KPK” or the subtleties of heartache and betrayal on the Rexxie-produced “Peace.”
On his sophomore project, “Blessed“, Mohbad fully embraces his role as one of street-pop’s foremost missionaries, honoring his loyal fans while warning those who dislike him.
The song “Beast & Peace” is taken from the EP.
