Hizmiz talks about how he got started as an artist, the type of music he makes, her background, her record label, and much more in this interview. Enjoy!!!
ZAGAEMPIRE: Tell us about yourself
HIZMIZ: Greetings everyone my name is Hizmiz aka Omni Lamba I’m a musical artiste and songwriter from Ikorodu and I’m 21 years old. I’m also a recording producer and a content creator.
ZAGAEMPIRE: What drives you into doing Music?
HIZMIZ: My passion and love for music drive me to do music
ZAGAEMPIRE: How and where did it start?
HIZMIZ: My passion and love for music started growing when I was in junior school then I had a small band I sing with, and we usually make music performances of other artists’ songs everyday in class then one day I realized I can write my own songs also and that was how I started my music career
ZAGAEMPIRE: What was the atmosphere at home and your immediate environment when you first started?
HIZMIZ: The atmosphere at home was not fully supportive when I started music. My parents wanted me to concentrate on my studies so i was pushing myself alone and with the help of my guys
ZAGAEMPIRE: What is the biggest obstacle you have encountered journeying the path of music?
HIZMIZ: Lack of good information and knowledge about the music business. If I had learnt about music and the business very early the journey would have been easier for me
ZAGAEMPIRE: What has been your greatest motivation as a music artist?
HIZMIZ: My family, friends and loved ones, are the ones that gives me the motivation
ZAGAEMPIRE: You’re signed to Sensation Muzik, how does it feel to be a part of the label?
HIZMIZ: It feels like I’m in a place surrounded by my loved ones, Sensation Muzik appreciates my Talent and I appreciate everyone on the Team very much
ZAGAEMPIRE: Tell us about your latest song “Feelings”
HIZMIZ: “Feelings” is one of my Happy songs, this song has so many behind-the-scenes stories. Big shout out to Maestro for the production of “Feelings“, we both recorded this song over 5 times different sessions to make this song complete. Feelings is out now on all music platforms. ZAGAEMPIRE: Aside from music, what else do you do?
HIZMIZ: I’m a full-time musical artiste now
ZAGAEMPIRE: Who is your model in the entertainment industry?
HIZMIZ: Olamide
ZAGAEMPIRE: Why did you choose him/her as a model?
HIZMIZ: I have been listening to Olamide’s music since when I started music and he is still part of my Favorite artists till now, I have learnt so much from him
ZAGAEMPIRE: In the next three years, where do you see yourself?
HIZMIZ: By 2026 I see myself having a very much bigger fanbase than I do have currently
ZAGAEMPIRE: What will be your greatest achievement as an artiste?
HIZMIZ: My greatest achievement will be performing to millions of people on Stage while they sing back my songs as i sing to them
ZAGAEMPIRE: If you quit music, what else will you venture into?
HIZMIZ: Content creation because I can create content for anything
ZAGAEMPIRE: Do you wish to discuss your relationship status? If yes, tell us about it.
HIZMIZ: Yeah, I’m currently in a relationship with an Angel sent by God to bless me, she is part of God’s blessings in my life
ZAGAEMPIRE: Which artiste in the whole of the world earned your maximum respect and why?
HIZMIZ: I have maximum respect for Asake’s Originality and Talent, He’s blessed.
ZAGAEMPIRE: What has been your relationship with fans and people alike?
HIZMIZ: I see my fans as my family cos the kind of love they show to me is very very special and I want to use this opportunity to appreciate all of my fans and I pray God bless all of you
ZAGAEMPIRE: What advice do you have for rising Musicians?
HIZMIZ: Learn about music and the music business it will help make the journey easy and remove fear when it comes to doing anything for your music
