Mahrizzi talks about how she got started as an artist, the type of music she makes, her background, her record label, and much more in this interview. Enjoy!!!
ZAGAEMPIRE: Tell us about yourself
MAHRIZZI: I am Fatunbi Mariam also known as Mahrizzi, some call me Mahrizzi Medusa. I’m a graduate of Lagos State University.
ZAGAEMPIRE: What drives you into doing Music?
MAHRIZZI: Cos I got passion for Music
ZAGAEMPIRE: How and where did it start?
MAHRIZZI: Well music has been my thing since my days in primary school when I got the post of Assembly Prefect, so I love singing a lot.
ZAGAEMPIRE: What was the atmosphere at home and your immediate environment when you first started?
MAHRIZZI: Everyone including my parents was pleased with me singing
ZAGAEMPIRE: What is the biggest obstacle you have encountered journeying the path of music?
MAHRIZZI: My biggest obstacle was having to deal with school, work and music
ZAGAEMPIRE: What has been your greatest motivation as a music artist?
MAHRIZZI: My life experiences is my greatest motivation
ZAGAEMPIRE: You’re signed to ‘Sensation Muzik’, how does it feel to be a part of the label?
MAHRIZZI: Well ‘Sensation Muzik’ is the first label that I ever got a deal with so I am happy and I pray to God everything should work out fine between us.
ZAGAEMPIRE: Tell us about your latest song “Boundaries”
MAHRIZZI: “Boundaries” is a song that has to do with betrayal, like when people you trust are the same people that tell shit behind your back so you just want to be in your comfort zone with just you and you alone.
ZAGAEMPIRE: Aside from music, what else do you do?
MAHRIZZI: I’m a Fashion Designer.
ZAGAEMPIRE: Who’s your model in the entertainment industry?
MAHRIZZI: Eva Alordiah
ZAGAEMPIRE: Why did you choose her as a model?
MAHRIZZI: She’s been a motivation to me, she’s just the best for me.
ZAGAEMPIRE: In the next three (3) years, where do you see yourself?
MAHRIZZI: I see myself being the best version of myself, and also being one of the best female artists across the Globe.
ZAGAEMPIRE: What will be your greatest achievement as an artiste?
MAHRIZZI: Being the best of myself and looking back to see how far I have come to be in the high position.
ZAGAEMPIRE: If you quit music, what else will you venture into?
MAHRIZZI: I can’t quit music, even if I do, I would be a fashionista, a big fashion line holder that has unmatched designs.
ZAGAEMPIRE: Do you wish to discuss your relationship status? If yes, tell us about it.
MAHRIZZI: No, let’s skip that.
ZAGAEMPIRE: Which artiste in the whole of the world earned your maximum respect and why?
MAHRIZZI: YOUNG MA
ZAGAEMPIRE: What has been your relationship with fans and people alike?
MAHRIZZI: My fans are the best for me, they keep supporting me whenever I drop any song. They love me, they are my family.
ZAGAEMPIRE: What advice do you have for rising Musicians?
MAHRIZZI: Don’t stop praying, keep pushing till you be the best version of yourself cos impossibility is nothing.
