Burna Boy, Nigeria’s award-winning musician, has responded to fans who have criticized his silence on the country’s elections.
On Monday, the singer took to Instagram to respond to criticism about his silence and non-participation in Nigeria’s 2023 elections.
Giving the reason why he didn’t get involved, Burna Boy explained that he didn’t have a candidate he believed in and he had never in his life supported any candidate or political party.
He then stated that he does not want to be the reason for people making a decision, so that they do not blame him if his option performs poorly.
