WeGlobe and Jayfeelz have dropped their collaborative debut single.
WeGlobe and Jayfeelz join forces to debut their first official collaboration, “Soweto Girl,” today, on Saturday, November 19.The anticipation for the debut of the EP “At Last” by these two amazing music nerds has grown as a result of this beautiful collaboration.
The track, a thrilling Amapiano and Afro Pop duet with prolific musician Jayfeelz, is a true global hit.
Jayfeelz jumped into the SmithBeatz production and acted out the song as a prosperous tourist who traveled from a west African nation to Ibiza and then took a connecting flight to the Soweto town area in South Africa.
WeGlobe explains the new single’s creation process as follows: “I’ve always enjoyed Jayfeelz’s music. I contacted him last summer and suggested that we collaborate on a song that turned out perfectly, but the files went missing. I suggested to him that we write another song and turn it into an EP. I think the combination of Jayfeelz’s customarily witty voice, Smith beats, and my format is really cool. I’m pleased with the way this track came out.”
This led to the creation of “Soweto Girl,” which centers around the story of a tourist who met a beautiful African girl on a Spanish island while visiting a town in South Africa.
