Tems, a talented Nigerian singer and songwriter, received four nominations for the American Music Awards in the United States.
This is a new record for a Nigerian artist as the singer received nominations in top categories and with collaborations as well.
Tems, who was also nominated for MTV Europe Music Awards and BET Awards, has significantly increased the number of international awards she has received.
The singer was nominated in the following categories: Favorite Afrobeats Artist, Favorite R&B Song, Favorite Hip-Hop Song, Collaboration of the Year.
