Obateru Joshua Oluwapelumi is a Nigerian Afrobeats singer from Ondo State. Pelumi was born on September 3rd, into the family of Mr. & Mrs. Obateru.
He had his basic education at Ifeoluwa Academy, Ilesha, Osun state. And proceed to Sure Foundation Private School for his secondary education in the same town of Osun State. Joshua is currently a student of the prestigious University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
Music Career;
Oluwapelumi started his music career in the year 2016 while he was still in secondary school, he had lots of freestyle sessions and he was so good at doing music covers. He was a popular figure amongst his peers in school.
During his formative years in music, he was known as “Boi Spice” before he later changed to a much more ambitious name “SPICE THEE GREAT“. A name he feels embodies his target and hopes to be a “Great” name in the music world.
Since he started his music career, “Spice Thee Great” has dropped a lot of singles and he’s currently set to release his debut project, an Extended Playlist EP, titled ‘LOVE AND COMPLICATIONS” which will be dropped on the 9th of September, 2022.
