The Recording Academy, Grammy has finally recognized Wizkid as Afrobeats Giant ahead of their 64TH Grammy award.
They awarded him the title on their YouTube account following a video they made in his honour for ‘The Record’. The Video dived deep into Wizkid’s life, achievements and “How Wizkid reshaped Afrobeats With Made In Lagos“.
It was in their description that they referred to him as Afrobeats Giant ahead of his Counterparts; Burna, Olamide and Davido. The recording academy also referenced their forthcoming award show as they advised fans to tune in to see if Wizkid will go home with a golden gramophone.
Wizkid FC are already on Twitter jubilating over the fact that Grammy just confirmed Wizkid will be coming home with a Grammy award following the video they posted on YouTube.
