The Emo-Afrobeat artist Chukwuka Ekweani, better known by his stage name Ckay, has set a new record with his hit song “Love Nwantiti,” achieving another significant success in the UK.
CKay’s ‘Love Nwantiti’ was released in 2019 and has continued to smash record after record, as it was declared platinum in the UK shortly after it was certified platinum in the US.
After selling over 600,000 units of the blockbuster song, the music star becomes the first Nigerian artist to have a single, ‘Love Nwantiti’ certified platinum by Brit.
This is a significant achievement for the Nigerian singer and his music.
However, this is not the only platinum certification this song has received so far, It has also achieved platinum status in Canada, Austria, Italy, New Zealand and Portugal as well.
