Without a strong leader like President Muhamamdu Buhari, Nigerians would have become refugees in Niger and Cameroon, according to Minister of Labour Chris Ngige.
The Minister also said that Buhari‘s leadership qualities spared the country from being in crisis like Venezuela, speaking after being admitted as an honorary fellow of the Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Governance (INSLEC) in Abuja.
Ngige also claimed that the country’s current problems are the product of years of poor planning.

“The citizens of Nigeria would have spilled into Cameroon, Niger and other places as refugees. We were looking forward to it. But he forced us all to go into agriculture. We made agriculture the first signature programme of the administration and provided food security so that we can eat whatever we grow here.”
