#RecordsOpenSecretsEpisode08: Learn God’s Love from Justin Bieber’s “As I Am” feat. Khalid

December 31, 2021

Take me “As I Am”, means a complete acceptance without any looking further at our mistakes or engrossing faults, it best describes the Father’s (God’s) love towards us.

“As I Am” is the third track of Justin Bieber’s currently released sixth studio album “Justice.” On this episode of Records Open Secrets, we unfold something even you can see through this record, it is simply the sufficient and unconsecrated love of God towards us. Even with our faults, he loves us as we are, and it is simply the depiction of this record, how beautiful God’s love can be if only we should understand the depth.

Take me “As I Am”, means a complete acceptance without any looking further at our mistakes or engrossing faults, it best describes the Father’s (God’s) love towards us. He is the Father of all, to the Rich, both the Poor, famous, Armed Robbers, thieves, including Pastors, the Orphans and the Heart broken, inclusively. God loves us the way we are, he accepts us and doesn’t care how we are either, he wants to save us and it is part of what this record unfolds, in disguise.

“As I Am” is God’s love emboldened, the kind of love that comes with crystal clear acceptance that he has offered his entire creations, the animals, every living thing including the trees and most especially the Human beings he put on this Earth to have dominion over all things.

The record from Justin Beiber and Khalid’s disposition has a dual essence, you can mirror more circumstances through it if you look deep enough. The record in the right sense could explore a well committed love between two lovers accepting themselves. However, it is also an instrument in itself which could simplify an unconditional state of love which accepts and believes in us all, it is the kind of God’s love which does all that perhaps as he could even use humans as his instruments to tell more of himself. He loves unconditionally, so well.

I just released my Debut book, it shows, How much I love you.

And According to Justin Bieber and Khalid’s contribution on the record right from their separate verses, to the joint chorus, the hooks and the bridge alongside, it says, “You were there for me when I was actin’ selfish/And you prayed for me when I was out of faith/You believed in me when ain’t nobody else did/It’s a miracle you didn’t run away (Yeah)/You were there for me when I was actin’ selfish/And you prayed for me when I was out of faith/You believed in me when ain’t nobody else did/It’s a miracle you didn’t run away”

It doesn’t end that way either, all it does is enriching and sharing us the God’s kind of love which comes alive and brighter. “As I Am” could also mean God talking to us respectively, it is depending on how you want to see these, but there’s only one love which best describes this form of acceptance…
