All Davido’s 1 Million donations from industry friends and colleagues will be going to the Motherless homes, A huge donation to help all orphans in Nigeria.
Recall, Davido started the donation as a result of him being tired of lifting others. According to him, he wants to be lifted by his friends who he asked to send #1 million each as an appreciation for all he has done for them.
What started as a joke became a real thing with over 200 Million Naira in Davido’s bank account. The money was originally intended to be used for the clearing of his Rolls Royce.
Yesterday he tweeted that there would be a major announcement 12pm today.
Today 20th of November, 2021, Davido revealed that he would be donating 250 Million Naira to orphanages across Nigeria. He made the announcement through an Official press release shared via his Instagram page.
