Big Wiz has come under attack for not paying tribute to his late friend and colleague, Sound Sultan.
On the 11th of July, the legendary singer and actor passed away after battling throat cancer Celebrities like Tiwa Savage, Mayorkun, 2baba, and the general public took to social media to react and pay glowing tributes to Sound Sultan.
Wizkid also reacted to the sad news by posting a broken heart emoji on his Instagram Story (see post here). Apparently, his reaction was not enough considering his close relationship with the late Musician. Recall that the duo has two songs (Kokose & Geshomo), and was working on a new song before Sound Sultan’s death.
A Twitter influencer identified as Ololadee took to the Bluebird app to drag Wizkid for not paying tribute to Sound Sultan as other celebrities did. She implied that Wizkid didn’t value their friendship because he didn’t write a heartfelt message for Sound Sultan.
Ololadee recounted how Sound Sultan and Wizkid were caught multiple times hanging out and vibing, yet Wizkid didn’t find it fit to write Sultan a tribute, pay homage to the late music legend.
