Award-winning Nigerian super Afrobeats artiste, Wizkid has debuted at Number 82 on Billboard Hot 100 Chart with his single “Essence” alongside Nigerian vocalist Tems.
The news was confirmed by the Billboard Charts official Twitter page on Monday, the 12th of July 2021. According to their post, Wizkid’s single tagged “Essence” debuted at No 82 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week ending July 17th.
In addition to that, they also confirmed that this is Tems first appearance on the chart. The song “Essence” has been making waves since the album – “Made In Lagos” dropped. In fact, it may be safe to say that it is the only song on the album that has made this much noise.
It’s been topping different charts across the country, continent, and even the world at large. It would seem that Tems was the magician here or maybe the song just had a love potion in it because everyone is going crazy.
