Nigerian Men’s National Basketball Team, D’Tigers pays homage once again to the late music legend, Sound Sultan.
Recall yesterday July 13, The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) paid a glowing tribute to Sound Sultan after Nigeria’s men’s national basketball team, D’Tigers thrashed Argentina on Monday.
This new honor is coming in after the NBBF’s Twitter. In the new homage paid to Sound Sultan, the NBBF customized a shirt for their game against Australia.
The new game, D’Tigers basketball match against Australia took place in the early hours of today (1:30 AM), July 14, 2021. While going into the Arena, the players wore their customized shirts with print of Sound Sultan’s face to pay tribute. (See below)
The teams also observed a moment of silence before their game to Honour the music legend and lover of Basketball.
