OBT Records is set to officially unveil a new artist who goes by the
name “Yinka” whose debut song “Only You” had attracted over 20 thousands
of plays.
Yinka bridges the boundary between Afro-pop, Afro beat, highlife and
classical music which blend to produce compellingly beautiful and lovely
songs.
Although a fresh new artist, Yinka’s impressive new performance speaks
louder than words.
OBT director comments: ” we are delighted to have met Yinka. He is able
to bring and present refined, exceptional and unique tunes to the world.
Although Yinka at times occasioned comparisons in the press with the
likes of Wizkid, Davido and Adekunle Gold, in reality, He is very much a
singular voice with his own compelling artistic vision and style .”
Yinka, having had successful stage appearances with Seriki and Mr. Real
and a host of other artists making waves in the industry. He is expected
to drop some singles which include “Igboro” and “Ladoo” anytime soon.
He will be officially unveiled soon as the label is putting all in place
to add him to their list of artist which include versatile indigenous
rapper @Emini_Kabex and Africa’s first lecturer hip hop artist
@iam_theorist.
