Fireboy DML Explains Why His New Album ‘ZUKO!’ Has Few Features
Nigerian singer Fireboy DML has explained why his latest album, ZUKO!, has only a few guest appearances, revealing that some of his plans for collaborations did not work out as expected.
During a recent interview on X, the singer said he initially wanted the project to include more collaborations but decided not to force any features when things did not go as planned.
“It just didn’t work out, I swear to God. And I just felt like that’s how it’s meant to be for this particular project. I genuinely wanted it to be very collaborative but it just didn’t work out. I don’t force vibes,” he said.
According to Fireboy DML, he had hoped to make the album more collaborative, but the project came together differently. He chose to let things happen naturally rather than force collaborations.
