Clean Bandit have joined forces with Chlöe and Nigerian singer-songwriter Omah Lay for their new single, “Company.”
The song gives fans an early taste of Clean Bandit’s upcoming studio album, which is expected in 2027. It also marks the second release from CB X, the independent label launched by the Grammy-winning group.
“Company” brings together three different sounds. Clean Bandit handle the electronic and pop production, while Chlöe adds her smooth R&B vocals and Omah Lay brings his distinct Afro-fusion style.
The song focuses on desire, loneliness and the need for human connection. Its rhythmic production creates a lively backdrop for Chlöe’s vocal runs and Omah Lay’s laid-back delivery.
The collaboration also comes from a creative connection that has been developing over the years. Clean Bandit’s Grace Chatto and Jack Patterson have previously worked with Omah Lay and other Nigerian artists, making “Company” feel like a collaboration that has been building for some time.
The official video also takes a more muted visual approach, creating a contrast with the brighter and more energetic feel of the song.
