Nigerian music star Ayra Starr has dropped her highly anticipated third studio album, “Starrgirl,” via Mavin Records and Republic Records.
The 16-track project follows her 2024 album, The Year I Turned 21, and marks another important chapter in Ayra Starr’s career as she continues to grow her presence on the global music scene.
“Starrgirl” brings together Afropop, R&B, pop and other influences, giving Ayra room to explore different sounds while staying connected to her African roots. The album includes previously released songs such as “Gimme Dat” featuring Wizkid, “Who’s Dat Girl” featuring Rema, and “Tornado.”
The project also features an international lineup of guest artists, including ZAYN, KWN, Leon Thomas, Theodora and Danny Ocean, alongside Nigerian stars Wizkid and Rema.
Across the album, Ayra Starr touches on confidence, personal growth, relationships and navigating life as a young African woman with an increasingly global career.
With “Starrgirl,” Ayra Starr adds another major body of work to her catalogue, showing her versatility and continued growth as one of the leading voices in contemporary African music.
