Fast-rising Nigerian singer Mavo has officially released his debut album, “Business.” The 13-track project marks an important step in his career as he continues to grow beyond his string of successful street-pop records. Released through Inner Circle Entertainment and Kilogbede Records, the album blends Afrobeats, street-pop, and Amapiano into one solid body of work.
“Business” explores themes of success, money, love, and personal growth. Songs like “Jehovah” and “Letter to My Baby” show Mavo’s emotional side, while the title track reflects his drive to keep pushing his music career forward.
The album also features a few special collaborations. British rapper AJ Tracey appears on “Poison (Panya),” producer P.Priime joins Mavo on “Use Me,” while SSSoundGawd features on “BB Lifestyle.” These collaborations add more depth to an already impressive debut project.
