Nigerian singer Brymo has reignited his long-running feud with Burna Boy after reacting to the rapper’s viral lyric, “Hustle make you no fall off like Brymo,” during a recent interview with NotJustOk.
Brymo said he was surprised that an artist of Burna Boy’s level included the line in his music, describing it as “mediocre.”
Speaking during the interview, Brymo said:
“I was surprised that he is flying so high and he did not realize how mediocre how that was. I should be that important.”
He also revealed that he told Burna Boy he would never mention him in any of his songs.
“I told him your name no go ever appear for my song.”
Brymo went further by questioning Burna Boy’s Grammy win, alleging that the award was bought. He also claimed that he was once asked to pay $10,000 to secure a BET Award.
“You won a Grammy and so what? It was bought. Who’s your mate.”
“I’ve been told to pay $10k for a BET Awards before. I don’t care what fraternity you belong to.”
Burna Boy has not publicly responded to Brymo’s latest comments. Brymo’s claims about the Grammy and BET Awards remain allegations, and he did not provide evidence to support them.
