K2 WonderBoi Releases Motivational EP “Before The Crown”

Nigerian Afrobeat artist, K2 WonderBoi, has officially released his motivational project titled “Before The Crown”, a deeply emotional 7-track EP that reflects his journey through pain, struggle, faith, and survival.

The EP tells a real-life story shaped by hardship and resilience. It captures moments of loss, isolation, and perseverance, while also highlighting the strength that comes from faith and determination to keep moving forward no matter the circumstances.

A key influence in his journey was his late uncle, Idris Adekunle, who strongly believed in his music dream. Even in his own difficult times, he sacrificed his last resources to support K2 WonderBoi’s vision, a belief that continues to inspire the artist till today.

Life later became even more difficult with the passing of his mother, followed by the heartbreaking loss of his younger sister. These experiences deeply shaped his outlook on life and forced him into a season of survival, reflection, and rebuilding. Through it all, music became his voice and his healing.

“Before The Crown” represents everything that happens before success is fully seen — the pain before glory, the struggle before recognition, and the faith before breakthrough.

The EP features 7 tracks, including the previously released song “Ise Oluwa”, blending Afrobeat sounds with emotional storytelling and street-inspired energy.
